Dear Music Lover, Welcome to my site!

I am happy to share my love of music with you. As a concert violinist and pianist, I am striving to revive the lost traditions of the Golden Age of the performing arts when artists had very individual styles and a deep respect for music and listeners.

Over time, musicians have lost some of the crucial qualities and characteristics that are so important in the development of a great performer and ultimately, in presenting unforgettable performances.

The three features I feel have most deteriorated, leading to a lower overall standard in the performing arts today are: Substitution of real feelings and emotions by artificial ones accompanied by "theatrical effects", Underdeveloped taste, musical intuition; Lack of personality; clean but unexpressive playing.

The music world was fortunate to have such geniuses as Hofmann, Rachmaninoff, Heifetz, Milstein, Rubinstein, Francescatti, Horowitz and many others who left their legacy for us to fully appreciate the performing arts. It is their art that inspires me to search for new ideas, directions, and projects.

This resulted in my recent CD, "The Mirror Image", for which I wrote, performed and recorded arrangements for violin and piano. It contains transcriptions of masterpieces by Tchaikovsky, Faure, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Brahms, Glazunov, and my own "Tango."

My previous CD, "Solo Violin" includes works by Bach, Ysaye, Kreisler, Paganini, Khachaturian and Andriessen.

Both CDs are featured on this site. I hope you enjoy them!
